About Bioware
Bioware was started in December, 1992 to provide custom software support, services and software solutions for managing information in biological research. The impetus for Bioware came from conversations with Elliot Altman (University of Georgia) and John Roth (University of Utah). Bioware has focused almost exclusively on strain and plasmid management. Information and information management in biology are becoming increasingly complex, and if you have specific needs that are not met by current products, or simply would like to know more about StrainFinder and competing products, please contact me at Bioware.
